Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and StoryVerse ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the DramaHub: Short Drama Series application and related services (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License grant
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. Your use of the App is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility
The App is intended for users aged 18 and over. By using the App you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction and are legally able to enter into this agreement.
3. Subscriptions & in-app purchases
DramaHub is free to download and offers optional consumable purchases (coins, used to unlock individual premium episodes) and an auto-renewing VIP subscription (removes ads and unlocks all episodes), available in one or more billing periods such as weekly, monthly, or yearly. All purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. The current price, billing period, and any free trial or introductory offer applicable to your region are shown on the purchase screen and the Google Play listing before you confirm.
- Payment will be charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- VIP subscriptions automatically renew at the price and billing period you selected unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
- Free trial / introductory offer: any free trial or discounted introductory period automatically converts to a paid subscription at the standard price when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Cancel during the trial to avoid being charged.
- Price changes: if we change a subscription price, we will notify you and, where required by Google Play or applicable law, obtain your consent before the new price applies. You may cancel before it takes effect.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription via the Google Play Store: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies: support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637.
- Coins and other virtual items have no monetary value, are non-refundable except where required by law, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law.
- Copy, redistribute, rent, sell, or sublicense the App or its content.
- Download, record, rip, or redistribute any video content available through the App.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, billing, or access-control features.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
5. Content & intellectual property
All drama series, video content, artwork, trademarks, and software made available through the App are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Your license to access content is limited to streaming it within the App for personal viewing; no ownership or download rights are transferred to you. We make commercially reasonable efforts to offer only licensed or authorized content. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact devapp@gmail.com.
6. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be available.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 10.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StoryVerse and its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that could cause harm or legal liability. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
10. Google Play distribution
The App is distributed through the Google Play Store. This agreement is between you and StoryVerse only, and not with Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content. Your use of the App must comply with the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You also agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms and with U.S. and other applicable export-control laws when using the App.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are not affected by this clause.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
