Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 11, 2026  ·  Last updated: June 11, 2026
Applies to the DramaHub: Short Drama Series mobile app (package com.storyverse.dramahub).

This Privacy Policy explains how StoryVerse ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the DramaHub: Short Drama Series application (the "App"). We have written it to match the disclosures in our Google Play Data safety form. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

The short version. DramaHub is a free, ad-supported short-drama streaming app with optional coins and VIP subscriptions. We do not ask for your name, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, camera, or microphone. We do use advertising and analytics SDKs (Google AdMob, Google Firebase, Adjust, and the Meta SDK) that process device identifiers and app-usage events to show ads, measure installs, and fix crashes. You can control ad personalization and opt out — see "Your choices" below.

1. Information we process directly

App activity & preferences

To make the App work, we store on your device — and in some cases process on our servers — things like which series and episodes you watch, your playback position (so you can continue watching), your saved/favorite series, language preference, and basic in-app settings. This content reflects your activity inside DramaHub; we do not access media or files elsewhere on your device.

Device & technical information

We and our SDK partners process standard technical data such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, coarse region (derived from IP address, not precise GPS), and a resettable advertising identifier. This supports content delivery, analytics, crash diagnostics, and advertising.

Subscription & purchase data

DramaHub offers optional in-app purchases (coins) and auto-renewing VIP subscriptions. Payments are processed by Google Play Billing — we never see or store your full payment-card details. We receive a purchase token and subscription status so we can unlock the content you paid for and restore it on your devices.

Permissions the App requests

  • Internet & network state (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) — to stream episodes and load content.
  • Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) — required on Android 13+ so our advertising and attribution partners can use a resettable ad identifier. You can reset or limit this at any time (see "Your choices").
  • Post notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, optional) — only if you allow it, to notify you about new episodes and series. You can decline or revoke this in Android settings.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond and improve the App.

2. Third-party SDKs we use

DramaHub embeds the following third-party software development kits (SDKs). Each operates under its own privacy policy. We list the operator, purpose, and the data each processes.

For users in the EEA, UK, and other regions that require it, ads are governed by a consent flow (Google's User Messaging Platform / UMP). Whether you see personalized or non-personalized ads depends on the consent choice you make in that prompt.

Your choices regarding these SDKs

  • Reset or limit your Advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset/Delete advertising ID.
  • Decline personalized ads: choose the non-personalized option in the consent prompt, where shown.
  • Remove ads entirely: subscribe to VIP — paid tiers do not show ads.
  • Withdraw consent or request deletion: email devapp@gmail.com and we will act on your request.

3. What we do not collect

  • No precise (GPS) location.
  • No camera or microphone access.
  • No access to your contacts.
  • No reading of SMS or call logs.
  • No access to your photos or files beyond what is needed to run the App.
  • No payment-card numbers — Google Play handles all billing.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal information to data brokers.

We are transparent that our advertising and attribution partners (AdMob, Adjust, Meta) receive device and ad-interaction data as described above — this is how a free, ad-supported app operates. We do not share any data with them beyond what is listed in Section 2.

4. In-app purchases & subscriptions

DramaHub is free to download. It offers optional coins (a consumable in-app currency used to unlock individual premium episodes) and an auto-renewing VIP subscription that removes ads and unlocks all episodes. VIP is offered in one or more billing periods (for example weekly, monthly, or yearly). The exact price, billing period, and any introductory offer for your region are always shown on the purchase screen inside the App and on the Google Play listing before you confirm.

  • Payment will be charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • VIP subscriptions auto-renew at the price and billing period you selected unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Free trial / introductory offer: if you start a free trial or discounted introductory period, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the standard price when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or introductory period ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged.
  • Price changes: if we change the price of a subscription, we will notify you and, where required by Google Play or applicable law, ask for your consent before the new price takes effect. You may cancel before the change applies.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
  • Coins are non-refundable except where required by law, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Refunds are handled by Google Play at support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637.

5. How we use information

  • To stream content and remember your playback position and favorites.
  • To unlock and restore coins and VIP content you have purchased.
  • To show advertising in the free tier and measure its performance.
  • To understand which series are popular and improve recommendations.
  • To diagnose crashes and improve stability and performance.
  • To send optional notifications about new content (if you allow them).
  • To respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.

6. Sharing & third parties

We share information only with:

  • Google — Play distribution, Google Play Billing, Firebase, and AdMob.
  • Adjust — install attribution and fraud prevention.
  • Meta Platforms — ad attribution and measurement.
  • Infrastructure / hosting providers — to deliver content and operate the service.

  • AdMob: per Google's ad-platform defaults.
  • Account/viewing data: kept while your account is active; deleted on request.
  • Support emails: up to 24 months.

8. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live (e.g., under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • To exercise any right, email devapp@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
  • To opt out of ad personalization at the device level: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
  • You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 11).

9. Children's privacy

DramaHub is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). None of the SDKs we use are configured for child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

We and our service providers may process and store your information in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (or equivalent mechanisms) for international transfers.

11. Account & data deletion

You can request deletion of your DramaHub account and associated data at any time by emailing devapp@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

12. Security

We rely on the Android application sandbox, scoped storage, the Android Keystore where appropriate, and HTTPS/TLS for data transmitted to our servers and SDK endpoints. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice or the Google Play release notes. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
